Guest meaks Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 I have put 3 different powerpoint presentations onto my phone but the supplied software has not been able to find them I'm creating the presentations in powerpoint 2000. Any idea's?
Guest HelloDave Posted February 7, 2003 Report Posted February 7, 2003 You have installed the powerpoint filter for ActiveSync haven't you? It's on the supplied CD somewhere; the powerpoint viewer on the phone doesn't support powerpoint files natively so the filter converts them to glorified JPEGs which are then saved on the phone so you can view them with the viewer. This also means you must copy powerpoint files to the phone using ActiveSync AFAIK; you can't use a card reader because then the file(s) won't be converted which is a pain because ActiveSync is sloooooow!
Guest rashah Posted February 23, 2003 Report Posted February 23, 2003 I've just tried to do the above, and can see the renamed PPV files on my storage card. However, when I try to open the files from Pocket SlideShow it can't see them wherever I file them. Any ideas? Thanks
