Simple Guide? - Upgrade to 2.2 (Froyo)

Hi,

I've had a Pulse for over a year and installed a number of Custom ROMs.

I've just upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S and would like to move it to Android 2.2 without all the crap that Three installed on the handset.

I've been reading through posts for a few hours this afternoon and can't find clear instructions on how to upgrade to 2.2 though.

Is there a guide which tells me how to go from a 'Just Bought' Galaxy S to a version of 2.2?

If it's either of the following links, can you maybe help explain them a little clearer, as I'm not sure what to download, and what to actually DO.
