A2SD+ using ADB?

As others have mentioned, using the MCR9 prebake means A2SD only, but from searching around I understand it's possible to change to A2SD+ using ADB. I've spent ages searching, but haven't found out how this is actually done. Enlightenment will be most welcome :)

Mission accomplished with A2SD+, but am surprised to find I'm still running low on internal memory.

I tried a full wipe to see if that helped, but am still getting low memory reports, even though I have far less installed than before.

Quite what's taking so much more internal memory with R9 compared to R8 I've no idea, I suppose I'll have to put aside an evening to read the entire R9 WIP thread for an answer... :)

Here is how to fix it manually:

Method 1: Replace system/etc/init.d/40a2sd in r9 zip file by the same file from r8, if you have it

Method 2:

- Extract system/etc/init.d/40a2sd from zip file, and change 3 lines:

for i in app app-private;

to:

for i in app app-private dalvik-cache;

- Put it back into r9 zip file

I chose the latter option. I realised I'd made a mistake when editing the 40a2sd file, I'd only changed the first line (doh).

I've corrected this but am now getting either "verification failed" or "Wrong digest: system/etc/init.d/40a2sd" when attempting to reflash the ROM.

Any advice welcome.

Problem resolved using Clockwork recovery, but I'm intrigued how doing exactly the same thing (apart from editing two more lines) resulted in it giving an error?
