Problems with Handcent SMS

Anyone else having the same issues with Handcent SMS as me.

Firstly, the menus (when you want to delete, view etc) that appear have no words in them - just blank black boxes. However, if i click on one of the blank boxes the name appears & the actions happens. So, i figure out where the 'Delete' option is & press it & for a split second the word 'Delete' appears in the black box.

Secondly, When ever i get a text message i get 2 notification noises like i'm getting 2 text messages. It seems that Handcent hasnt properly taken control of the SMS service & messages are being rooted to both the phones default inbox & Handcents inbox.

Does anyone know how to fix these isses?

Or, is there an App out there that works just as good as Handcent?

the black box issue is a problme that we all suffer, i had it so stopped using it, but the notifications is simple, you must go into your normal messaging service and turn off the notifications to stop it bleeping twice.

change the theme to dark, all words are visible then, simples
