Guest blade-jac Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 only ordered my omnia yesterday, now i have seen this.... http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/29/htc-hd7...eplacable-card/ anybody dared to look ?
Guest awarner Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Technically it is replacable but if you do you will probably cause a hard reset as the memorycard is the main memory now, or so it appears. If you get an HD7 in the UK from O2 it will be 16GB and as yet anything larger is just too expensive to consider for now.
Guest blade-jac Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 well i cancelled my omnia order after seeing that the card is on the main board in the omnia 7.... no chance on ever replacing that and at 6gb free its very thin on memory.... checked my ipod and i have 10gb of music and vid on it. how much of the 16gb is available on the HD7 seen as the omnia alread used nearly 2GB
Guest awarner Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 I've got a few films and installed some games and apps and it shows me with 11GB so initially I would guess you are looking at 13GB usable from scratch. Don't forget just because you have 16GB even without the OS you never actually get that much in reality it's around 14.5GB. People generally forget that 16GB is not really 16GB.
