Guest seekr Posted October 29, 2010 Report Posted October 29, 2010 Hi, I've been enjoy the speed of froyo on SanFran for more than 24h now. It running quite smooth. First thing I did was immediately get Adobe Air (successful) and Flash (unsuccessful). I could install Air from a prevously download apk and install 2 demo apps that came with it. Both ran with no problem. But I can't install flash apk and when I try to download it from Market I get the "could not be found" message. The same happens when I try to install any of the Air application currently downloadable from Android Market. I'd appreciate if anyone had any insight on how to solve this... Cheers
Guest UncleFista Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 I'm watching this with interest 'cos I can't download flash either, I get the same "could not be found" message...
Guest thepeganator Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Can't get flash either, on the r4B Froyo rom, tried clearing market data and cache, but made no difference. Flash wouldn't install off the SD card either.
Guest MDCFan Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 I think flash currently does not support the processor we have in San Fransisco
Guest UncleFista Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Unfortunately I think I've the answer in another thread.. "Unfortunately the San Francisco doesn't meet the system requirements for Flash. It requires an ARMv7 based CPU and the San Francisco has a Qualcomm MSM7227 which is ARMv6 based"
Guest seekr Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 well, would the fact that air works be any hope for us? It is not without glitch but seems pretty usable... but I cant get any market air apps installed
