Accidentally removed gallery

Hi, I just got a SF and after playing with it for a few hours decided to root it and get rid of the orange apps.

(I used "universal androot" and "titanium backup")

While doing this I accidentally removed the gallery app thinking it was an orange one :)

Anyway now I can't open any .jpg images.

I've downloaded the Gallery3D and Gallery_Flan apk's but I'm unable to install them.

It says it will replace another application then when I hit install it errors with "Application not installed". It doesn't give any other reason as to why it didn't work.

So unless I've missed something I plan to restore to the stock ROM but...

But after entering the text I get a server not found error.

Please can someone help me get the stock ROM image so that I can restore my Blade.

Yes, I've tried downloading the ROM from that tread but keep getting a "server not found" error. I don't think it's a problem on my end as other websites work fine.

just tried it - it works fine for me - don't right click the link to save as - just left click it....

Just tried it now and it's working fine, probably just an intermittent server error.

I'm going to have a go at re-flashing it tonight and will post to let you know how it goes.

Ok, I've had a go at re-flashing it but it hasn't changed. I used fastboot to load the images which worked.

I don't think it is restoring the file system from the SD card. I followed the instruction below (from the other thread)

first copy the mcri-system-stock-OUK_P729BV1.0.0B05.tar.gz over to the root of the sd card and rename it to mcri-system.tar.gz

reboot the mobile, this should bring back all the orange stuff.

As far as I can tell it isn't doing anything with mcri-system.tar.gz

I'm at a loss as to what to do now so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure its rooted and then open it up with ASTRO File Manager... does this work??

and when i deleted internet by accident i got the internet apk from this ROM..

Thank you. I've installed Astro and used it to re-install the gallery app from the mcri-system.tar.gz.

Also do I need superboot or clockworkmod to restore the entire system from mcri-system.tar.gz or can I do it using the stock orange firmware?
