Guest crazy beautiful Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 (edited) I bought an omnia from like ebay and the Omnia's version is: PDA: i900DTHJ5/i900DTHJ5 PHONE:i900XXHJ1 I found out the XX = UK,Italy, etc while DT = Australia. 1. So how do you interpret these? Was this phone originally from Uk, Italy, etc or Australia? I want to flash the rom with http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general...-i900-by-ryrzy/ 2. Is it possible to flash the rom with the link above? I think the rom is based from a DXID1. Will that be ok to be flashed on my omnia using grandprix? 3. Do i need to flash first to a lower version of the DTHJ5 then flash with the rom on the link above or could i just flash the eboot, pda from that link right away using grandprix? Guest lobomarino Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 I bought an omnia from like ebay and the Omnia's version is: PDA: i900DTHJ5/i900DTHJ5 PHONE:i900XXHJ1 I found out the XX = UK,Italy, etc while DT = Australia. ................................ 1.- The part of the PDA in the ROM corresponds to the version of the soft of the operating system of the Omnia, whereas the Phone part corresponds to the radio that is the one that handles the communications for the market to which it goes destined. - 2 and 3. - You can flashear with the Grand Prix and you do not have to modify nothing nates. - Sorry by my mad english.-
