Guest CHUMBLY Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Dropped my san fran in the loo 4 days ago aaaargh. Completely dead so i took out circuit board and left bits in a bowl of rice for 3 days to dry. Today put it back together and switched on BINGO. Phone works except for ALL sensors not working. Is there one circuit controlling all sensors or could a reflash solve this? Anyone have experience with this. Is it fried or fixable? Tempted to buy another one but I hear ZTE are launching a new phone on Nov 8 based on zte blade, anyone heard about this. Many thanks

Guest CHUMBLY Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Seriously people does anyone know if ALL sensors not working is circuit failure or fixable by a reflash
Guest Azurren Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Seriously people does anyone know if ALL sensors not working is circuit failure or fixable by a reflash I seriously doubt that it could be fixed by a re-flash.. But what have you got to lose? :)
Guest mELIANTE Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Light and proximity sensors's components are very exposed, especially light sensor's. Biggest probability is they're fried :)

Biggest probability is they're fried :) you could always give your phone up to someone to JTAG it, or at least find the JTAG phone. or you could try the recycle people and as the phone "works" :) well most of it (might need a new battery) you might get a good price and get yourself a new one
