Is this an original Samsung battery?

Hi guys, I've got several battery-related questions:

1. Is this an original Samsung battery?

If yes, since when Samsung write the capacity on their batteries?

2. Can I start using it right away, or should I recharge it first?

3. Should I charge it for 12 hours before first use?

4. What means this "CZ" on the battery?

I bought this battery for my Samsung i900 Omnia. The original battery that came with the phone was AB653850CE and it looked different, and now this new battery is AB653850CU. The original was 1440 mAh, this new one is 1500 mAh. Why are these differences? Has Samsung released a new battery model during these 2 years, during which I used my first battery? Is it safe to use it with my Omnia?

This is exactly what I bought for my Omnia, and was told it is a original replacement battery... also 1500 mAh... I suppose the Omnia and Omnia 2 share the same battery and it got upgraded ... I am quite sure it is the real thing, as I have previously used a non genuine chinese replacement, and the charge on the original battery lasts twice ...

Tell me, my friend, when you put batteries that different than 1440 mAh, what does it display when you dial *#0228# - 1440 mAh or the actual capacity written on the battery?
