funny thing, giffgaff settings were part of the default apn's on my san fran with the 2.2 by steven harper.

Thank you so much for this. I had recently upgraded to the latest version of MCR (12) and suddenly Facebook and Twitter would not update. This programme removes all other APNs (if you choose option 2) and my Blade updated everything instantly!! :huh:

I am also having a big issue with MMS. I have the blade unlocked and installed 2.2 rom a while ago, kernel version :- 2.6.32.9-mck-1.0zte-kernel@zdroid-smt (build UNI_CN_V880 1.0 (MCRr7)).

My problem is I cannot SEND mms msg's. I can use internet and I CAN recieve mms!! I have used all the info on giffgaff site and have even installed the handcent mms + sms app but still i can not send mms.

Any help you can give guys would be gratefully received.

Have you got DATA turned on?

Have you got credit on the sim your using?

Have you checked to see if using that sim you can send an mms on a different phone? if you can't the problem is with the sim not the phone

if you can then the problem is the apn settings are wrong or you havent deleted all the old apn settings.

EDIT as you can receive MMS the problems is more than likely that your sim hasn't got credit! It's not a phone fault.

have you tried the giffgaff setup files thats on android market?

yes I have used the app for giffgaff, as I understand it the app deletes old and redundant apn's? in any case after the app was used I double checked apn and only the giffgaff ones remain.

Yes I have credit.

I must add tho that this little venture into mms only came about because I received an mms the size of a postage stamp and then realised i wasnt able to send mms either....Now i know it doesnt work I want/need to get this sorted. After changing apn details and whatever I can now receive mms at proper sizes. I just can not send mms.
