Guest Patrik W Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 (edited) Wow! This looks promising! Maybe some bugs are resolved! There seems to be some fixes for the camera and the gallery. http://www.cyanogenmod.com/home/cyanogenmo...ease-candidates Edited October 31, 2010 by Patrik W
Guest Coucquité Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 it's just a RC not final release so they are many changes everyday they are working on it and they can't post every little modification every time ... so I think that the port of that version is just a wast of time ..!

(see the cm6 thred) it has been based on 6.1 since 0.2 beta

This is RC1 and the one currently used is what I can see RC0. So there may be some differences here! It was released this week!
Guest Tom G Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Why does this need a new thread? There is already a discussion on CyanogenMod. What looks promising? We already have 6.1 on the pulse. (see the cm6 thred) it has been based on 6.1 since 0.2 beta It was actually always based on 6.1, I just labelled the first release incorrectly. Well! This is RC1 and the one currently used is what I can see RC0. So there may be some differences here! It was released this week! As I have already said in the other CM6 thread, my releases aren't based on any RC#, they are based on the current CyanogenMod git code which is always changing. Most of the RC1 changes should be inclued in my recent 0.3 release. The releases are not tagged in git, so if I were to update the code that I am using now it wouldn't really be RC1, it would include changes that have been commit since RC1 was released. My releases should really be marked as nightly builds (though I don't do them that often). I have some ideas on fixing the remaining bugs in the Pulse port, so when I have time to look at those I will look at doing an updated release. If you really want it to say RC1 you could just edit build.prop. PS. The gallery worked fine previously and has been broken in the recent updates, so not all updates are good.

Guest Patrik W Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Sorry! *ashamed* Believe it or not but it was never my first thought to make this a new thread. It was made by sort of a mistake! :-S I missed that part that Toms ROM was based on nightly builds. Well now I know and probably some more people..
