No data connection

Hi,

Last night my phone opened the data settings page on it's own a couple of times. My current provider (Vodafone) had been unchecked. I use wi-fi at home so I didn't notice any adverse affects of this, but now I'm at work with no wi-fi I've noticed I have no data connection. I've checked and reset the data and PAN settings and it says I am registered on the network, but still no data signal.

Yesterday I provided my new provider (GiffGaff) with my PAC code for transfer, but asked for it to transfer across on 2nd November. My Vodafone contract expires on the 3rd November.

Am I just expereincing problems due to the termination and transfer of the Vodafone number? I'm using MoDaCo r4 Rom if that's relevant.
