Has anybody managed to set the IE homepage to anything other than Orange ? If so - how did you do it ?

My problem -- I updated phone using the Danish update - glad I did - but since then every time I access Internet Explorer, it immediately brings up a list of favourites ... (I guess that's because there is no homepage set) ..

All I want to do is tell it to remember the Orange home page ... any idea's ? Is it a setting stored in the registry somewhere ?

Thanks

IE always shows the favourites list when launched directly.

My guess is that you used to use the Orange Icon, which took you to the Orange page. Just create a customized home screen with a link oif your "home page".

Alternatively try creating links in the Start Menu and launch IE with that. Haven't tried this so not sure if this will work.

I think that a homepage would be a waste of time and money as you would have to wait for it to come up and pay for th ememory usage (or time usage on dial-up).

Unless its a page you regulary access, which is normal for a homepage. You might even be able to assign an IE icon to the shortcut. A long while back somone went through the numbers associated with the icons and found a few, can't remember if it was herer on modaco or on the MS newsgroups though...
