1.6 stock launcher on 2.1 and above

Hi i very much like the feature on 1.6 that gives me different backgrounds per page.

I'm not so bothered with live wallpapers.

I'm still quite a noob with android development :)

Has anyone tried to do this at all ?

If you or anyone else wants to have different Wallpapers on each of your Home Screens all you need to do is go to the market and get "Multipicture Live Wallpaper" which will enable you to do just that although its called Live Wallpapers it does work with static Wallpapers as for the stock launcher sorry no idea how or if that can be done or not but you have so much choice with ADW or Launcher Pro or any of the others replacements you should be able to replicate it or make something you like .

Its a live wallpaper after you install the apk but it works fine. Its called wallstreak.apk and I posted the .apk here.

Nice to see the app I wrote getting some traction. 8)

A new release of WallStreak will be forthcoming; mostly usability stuff, a good portrait mode setting, etc.

Thanks for replys, that has made my day :)

I also found out that the 1.6 stock keyboad is in process of being ported.

I haven't taken the plunge into installing 2.2 but this has definitely made me won't to.
