Guest marcb512 Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 I have a Dell Streak from their Beta test over the summer and I have not used it in a month. I charged it last night and now it won't boot. It sometimes flashes a green battery, and most times, just flashed the 3 soft buttons. Holding power with the camera button or any of the volume buttons does nothing. The soft buttons only light up with the power button alone. I have tried many of the recovery options I have read on this forum, but as I mentioned before, I cannot even get to any secondary boot screens or even to the Dell Logo. I have seen the Dell Logo Splash once today, but cannot repeat it. Please advise with any potential experiments. Thanks in advance.
Guest Dogmann55 Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 Hi marcb512, May be a long shot but nothing to lose by trying this plug it into your computer you can try whilst its on and off as it may just kick start your Streak it did on my original Streak once when it was stuck good luck. You can also try once its plugged in connecting to it via either the Dell PC Suite or ADB if you can. Marc
Guest marcb512 Posted November 2, 2010 Report Posted November 2, 2010 While my Streak is plugged into USB, it does not show up as a connected device in Windows, or via ADB. This is likely because it is not fully powering up. While plugged into computer, the 3 soft buttons stay on permanently, but nothing shows on the screen.
