Guest foxfire235 Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 It was released today by Bell in Canada. I thought Bell was CDMA?
Guest crash6 Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Bell now has a hsdpa / umts network 850 and 1900 mhz. I just bought the Desire z (G2) and am loving it. not much in the way of customization yet though.

Guest El Nino9 Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 the Desire Z wont go to the USA, only canada. the G2 is the same phone but no sense UI and is already available on t-mobile only. they only support as follows: Desire z: with sense ui HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz GSM: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz T-Mobile G2 without sense ui Band (frequency) GSM:850 MHz;900 MHz;1800 MHz;1900 MHz; UMTS: Band IV (1700/2100) hope this clarifies what you are asking. but i do believe that the great developers will hack this phone as htc have annoyed everyone with the protection they have put on the phone, and once it has been hacked with a custom recovery the G2 will get sense ui for sure and the desire z will be able to be non sense ui too. the other difference is keyboard layout certain keys different as far as i know :) but everything else in terms of hardware is identical accept i beleive the G2 comes with 4GB internal memory and the desire z only 1.5GB but G2 customers have complained that they don't have 4g apparently :s
