Phone makes ringing noise when phone is turned on ?

Every time i turn my phone on as soon as it get's to the home screen it makes a ringing noise, I haven't missed a call and im not receiving one so any idea what this could be ?

Its the notification tone for the SD card, lets you know its mounted OK afaik. Cheers. Paul

Low battery? (Yes.. It does sound like a ringtone)

Or could it be that you turn it on when connected to the PC / charger and it's that notification?

Are you running a Froyo Rom?

If it is the above then there is an option to "Disable SD card notifications"

Thanks :) It did it again when i turned off usb storage il just disable the tone

Sorry to double post but the option to turn off the notifications is grayed out and i can't click it ?

EDIT : *facepalm* I had the volume on silent :)
