Guest rct_uk Posted November 3, 2010 Report Posted November 3, 2010 The night before last, completely out of the blue, my SF woke me vibrating erratically. The phone had been switched off so there was no real explanation. Switching it on/off didn't help; the phone eventually settled down but then vibrated in response to me touching the screen or tilting it! This was both with the phone on and off. I pulled the battery and put it back together again to find it doing the same. Taking the battery out overnight seemed to work at first but within a few minutes of switching it back on again the vibration motor started going off randomly. I was using Sebastian's R4 ROM; flashing to stock seems to have stopped it for the time being, but I'm having a hard time believing it's a software issue! Any thoughts? I'm reluctant to ask for a replacement as the phone's over a month old now, which means a refurb I think...

Happened once for no reason at all. We all turned around and just stared at it "wtf?" Perhaps an app or something was playing up overloading the phone. ( But seriously.. Who programs a phone to scream and thrash around in pain?!! ET needs to phone child line :))
