Guest Arty Marty Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) What is the best radio to use? just updated from Rom v8 to v9 I was using 32.43.00.32U_5.09.00.20 the kitchen offers: 32.47.00.32U_5.10.05.23 I also have a 32.48.00.32U_5.11.05.14 Is there any advantage/disadvantage with going to the latest? better worse/stability batter etc etc ?? any suggestions? Also, I am assuming you can downgrade by just going into recovery and flashing an older radio.zip right? (Usting the desire in australia on Telstra) Warmly, Marty Edited November 4, 2010 by Arty Marty

I'm using at the moment this one: 32.48.00.32U_5.10.05.30 which is by the way not on the list of the first page...

(Usting the desire in australia on Telstra) Warmly, Marty I'm using R9 and recently upgraded to 32.48.00.32U_5.10.05.30 (this has made a nice subtle difference (i think, either that or placebo!) to my battery over 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2 from the R9 kitchen) And yes, just flash the radio.zip as you say......
Guest Arty Marty Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Thanks guys, I have loaded that one and taking it for a spin right now.. :)) Warmly, Marty
Guest camdenhandbrake Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 It may also be worth tracking down the appropriate RIL for whichever radio you do decide to use.

What is the RIL? is it a specific set of drivers for the phone? and how would you install it? I will have a google and see if I can find them. Cheers.
