Boot Animation help please

EDIT: I got it wrong when I tried to describe this earlier.

I've modified the boot splash image and got rid of the green robot, all ok, it works fine and the custom splash image now shows perfectly,

but before my cusom boot animation shows I still get the green "robot" showing for maybe 5 seconds.

Anyone know what file this "robot" picture is stored in, or what its called?

is it an animation or a single picture?

Anyone?
