Hi guys i have just put the o2 rom on and all my contacts have gone, i have a back up on the pc via pc suite but when i sync them they don't appear on the phone, i have set it to send to phone from pc, its frustrating the hell out of me!

in your phone when you click contacts, click the settings button"Display Options" --> Phone(PC Sync) and ensure that "All Contacts" is selected

I've done that m8, just get the show balance, top up etc. The contacts are there in the pc suite, they say they have synced but all attempts to get them result in nothing.

What did you do?

I have the same problem with CPW 2.1 I flashed today.

If I manually enter a number my contacts appear but on the list it states I have no contacts???

I was lucky m8, i installed all my old apps and data with titanium, rebooted my phone and it kept coming up saying android.com.core (i think) needed to close, i clicked close and it kept coming up but i was able to go into my contacts and they were all there so i backed them upto SD and sim, then did factory reset.

Also you could try as gstar101 says above, Contacts, menu, (touch button above phone left ) display options, phone, all contacts.

OMG this should be so easy, all my contacts are on my PC via LG PC Suit, it says its copied them back across to my 2.1 updated phone, but they dont appear. What am i overlooking?

Anyone?

When you root your phone install busybox ! Or you will not be able to sync the phone !

I thought i had root and busybox, it said it had transferred them but nowhere to be found on the phone.

rednose01 i had that same problem with lg suite, its pants lol, or maybe its just me.

I have a solution that worked for me:

I viewed my contacts on LG PC suite, then selected them all, went to file export, exported them to a folder on my phone's SD card. Now go to contacts, menu, more, import/export then mport them all from the SD card, works a treat. Hope this helps
