Guest totiadrenalin Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) CM6 Minor Update plus overclocked kernel It doesn't include odexing of the applications. prepare_update_signed.zip CM6_Minor_Update+oc_kernel+odex_signed.zip To check if swap works fine type swaps in terminal --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CM6 Minor Update plus overclocked kernel plus apps odexing Try this on your own risk. I'm not responsible if the odexed applications give you force closes. prepare_update_signed.zip CM6_Minor_Update+oc_kernel_signed.zip To check if swap works fine type swaps in terminal --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Optional A2sd This is very simple and tinny version of a2sd. Very easy to be used. Instructions. Before flash this zip, make sure that you didn't flash the dta2sd zip. Because in that case this script will not work. after you flash the a2sd_optional zip in recovery mode (AmonRa or ClockworkMod), On the next boot all applications will be moved from the internal storage (/data/) to the external storage (/sd-ext/). You can change things in the terminal. Available commands: Apps - Move the apps from internal to external storage and reverse. data - Move the android /data/data/ from internal to external storage and reverse. cachesd - Move the dalvik-cache from internal to external storage and reverse. Very simple to use. Only six available commands and you do the same as with dta2sd. But each time you ran a command you will have to reboot the phone for the script to works. Available commands: a2sd - move the apps to sd-ext a2init - move the apps to the initial location ( internal memory) - /data/app/ cache2sd - move the dalvik-cache to sd-ext cacheinit - move the dalvik-cache to the initial location ( internal memory) - /data/dalvik-cache/ data2sd - move the apps data to sd-ext data2init - move the apps data to the initial location ( internal memory) - /data/data/ After typing the command in the terminal emulator app, any change will be taken only after next reboot. For Now I can upload only a2sd_optional.zip Use clockwork to flash it. And confirmed that it is working.a2sd_optional.zipprepare_update.zipa2sd_optional.zip Edited November 12, 2010 by totiadrenalin
Guest Theme Ishere Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Cheers! I guess bed will have to wait a bit longer. In terms of the overclocking: CAn I just switch that off somehow? Compared to Flibble's 2.1 rom the battery life is pretty bad on its own, I don't want to make it even worse. Especially as I am quite happy with the performance without it.
Guest totiadrenalin Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) I just want to tell you that this is still a work in progress!!!! Edited November 4, 2010 by totiadrenalin
Guest jamielockeymusic Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Flashing first zip (without odex) says 'syntex error, installation aborted'
Guest pandinusimp Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 I wanted to install the Prepare update but there is a syntax error in the update script tells me Clockwork. :-(
Guest D-D- Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Flashing first zip (without odex) says 'syntex error, installation aborted' Yep. It kinda did that on the second to (since I've already did some things that the script does)...
Guest D-D- Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) Double post... Sorry. Edited November 4, 2010 by D-D-

Guest totiadrenalin Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Now it's to late Here. I'll re-write the update-scripts and re-upload the zip files again tomorrow. I don't know why? Can somebody thry with AmonRa recovery? Everything works fine via AmonRa recovery.
Guest D-D- Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 (edited) Strange. The problems usually were with amonra. :S Oh well... <edit1> Installing amonra and making nandroid backup :) <edit2> Same errors again. It might have something to do with the upload links. I downloaded from 4shared. Let me try the other links... <edit3> No luck! Edited November 4, 2010 by D-D-
Guest pandinusimp Posted November 4, 2010 Report Posted November 4, 2010 Everything works fine via AmonRa recovery. I tried it also with amonra. Same failure. Syntax error.
Guest gnegne Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Is there a slash missing in the script? if [ -e /system/app/Twitter.apk ]; then busybox cp /system/app/Twitter.apk /data/app Twitter.apk; busybox rm /system/app/Twitter.apk; else echo Nothing to do; fi;
Guest SA160N Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Fantastic !!! Gallery finally works, GREAT JOB. Now i'm waiting only a major update from TOM G. Thanks really. :) :) :( :( :(
Guest SA160N Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Ops, syntax error during the installation. Please give a look on your update
Guest Ellia Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 0.3 contains a bug with rotation: "Gallery has problems with rotation." Is this bug fixed by the new Gallery§D? This zips contains: ---------------------------------------------------- Apps: Working Gallery3D.apk Huawei sync. TouchPal.apk ADWLauncher 1.2.0
Guest totiadrenalin Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Is there a slash missing in the script? if [ -e /system/app/Twitter.apk ]; then busybox cp /system/app/Twitter.apk /data/app Twitter.apk; busybox rm /system/app/Twitter.apk; else echo Nothing to do; fi; No. There was problem with the update-script in all four update-scripts. Now all corrected. I'm uploading the new zips.
Guest totiadrenalin Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 Still syntax error... Ha? UI just flash all of the files. All of them are wore working fine. Whats? going on? Aha? Ok?! If somebody could find the problem? I find that sd-ext doesn't want to mount during zip flash in =clockwork recovery. Sometime it does and sometime it doesn't. So I'll have to change the zip install. For now apps2sd_optional_signed.zip is working perfect. I'll try to find the problem wit the minor update just now.
Guest D-D- Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 The new files don't work with amonra too.
Guest giorgitus Posted November 5, 2010 Report Posted November 5, 2010 For now apps2sd_optional_signed.zip is working perfect.
