Hi, I have one question:

I currently have Baltic 2.1 (V20B) on my phone, but today was released ROM specific for my country (V20A). Is it possible to flash the new rom into the phone?

And im curious about my data/apps/contacts - they will be erased or stay untouched? thanks...

Contacts will still be there as long as you have them synced with google (Contact type set to google), as when you add you google account ot he new version after flashing it will automatically sync them all back again.

As far as Apps/Data goes...

Apps.. Yes they will all be gone, but you can always redownlaod them frmo the market again after you have finished flashing, Or if you want to back them up, use something liek ASTRO file manager before you flash, back up the apps wiht it, then once you have flashed re install Astro frmo the market, then use ASTRO to restore all of the apps you backed up.

Data/SD card. Any files on the SD card will not be touched, so all data stored on the SD card will still be there.

Hope this helps?

When flashing frmo 2.1 to another 2.1, or flashing the same 2.1 over itself. First thing you need to do when its done flashing is perform a factory reset, otherwise it seems bits get left behind in the cache frmo the previous version you were running, factory reset clears this and starts up with the new fresh ROM.

Titanium back up will back up ALL your apps, including built in system ones and their data if you select it to. When you reinstall you can just download Titanium back up from the market and set it to restore all your apps and data. This works much easier for me, all I've ever had to do is redo my ringtones. Apart from that my ADW Launcher has been as it was before, etc etc.

Saves a LOT of reconfiguring settings. But it requires root and busybox.
