Been wandering in Android System Info app. and I found out that in OpenGL tab and another one it identifies GLESvers as 0.0. Didn't test it with debug.sf.hw=1 in the build.prop but I suppose it should have another value without being nescessary to activate that debug function. Could it be the reason that some games seem to not activate HW acceleration, like SpeedX? This game runs pretty well with debug.sf.hw=1 but when debug.sf.hw=0 it gets unplayable. I may be saying something stupid, but I found it fishy... What do you Android experts have to say about this? Is it normal? :) PS: I found no info on Google about this, apart from a couple of Tablets forums in which people commented about this, but I didn't get any info about it... ASI showed two status for GL, one of them with some info and the other =0.0. I supposed one of them was some sort of dorment state, activated by request, and that's why some games couldn't use HA accel. without it being enable via build.prop. Now that I read it I suppose I must be wishing too much :)
