cannot SEND texts anymore... (2.2 alpha)

hey,

i dont write that much texts, but a few days ago i noticed,

that texts won't be sent anymore. no problems when receiving though!

i ticked "delivery reports" and now the status report says only "pending" ...and pending... and pending.

no option to try it again, so i don't even know if android tries to.

sending another one won't work, also says pending.

and it has not been a temporary issue, since it did not work for 3 days now.

also, my gf (pink samsung) can text fine - so it should not be a provider issue.

well today texts should work fine on every mobile without any configuration (dunno how this is done, since in wm2003 i certainly had to fill in the number of the messaging central)

but before i flashed 2.2 i thought i have seen the option to change this somewhere...

but now?

weird thing is, it worked flawlessly last month!

i monitored this several days now,

and it happens (randomly?) that the SF is not able to send texts.

then again, it works without any problems.

weird.

of course it does not work only when i would need it :rolleyes:

i noticed, that when it wont send a message,

if i trie it again and again and send more and more texts,

it suddenly starts to work again.

then all messages, which were not sent, are delivered at once. of course this results in flooding the receiver....

as stated, it wont help when i receive a message first.

i suppose this happens everytime i did a restart of android (have to do so from time to time, when the android system process starts getting crazy)
