Hi everyone,

I got a problem with the market which has not been discussed in this forum I believe. My market works fine, I'm using the Blade with the cleaned up Modaco ROM, my only problem is that there are several apps that are not included in my market, for example Angry Birds and some Widget Changer a friend of mine wanted to send me. I clicked on the link but the market told me something about the app not existing... I unlocked my phone to be able to use it with my swedish Tele2 SIM. Has anyone been having the same problem?

Thats cool, thx. But it still kinda sucks, I want to be able to download all the apps that are available, like tools to manage widgets, but since they aren't existent I can't. Does anyone know a solution?

The Market automatically filters the available apps depending on your handset (an ID is sent, I believe).

There was talk of Paul adding the ID of the Nexus One into the MCR - but I dont know if that happened.....

The evidence would seem to suggest it hasn't (as I cant see Angry Birds either - but used GetJar as well)

I'm running MCR R3.

So I can't find the apps my friend sent me because he's got a HTC Desire and I got the San Fran?

Yes - for some apps, like the ones you mentioned, that will be the case I'm afraid.....

Any chance that I can transfer the HTC Desire Market-ID to my San Fran?

Like I said, there was talk of chaging the ID of the SF to that of the Nexus One but I dont think it happened.

Im not qualified to answer how to do it either, I'm afraid.

Maybe ask in the ROM thread pinned at the top?
