SD card blank or unsupported filesystem?

Hi guys i just spent the last few days getting the partition right on my sd card so as to install the r4 rom wuth a2sd and as soon as ive turned on my virgin SF I get the error SD card blank or unsupported filesystem.

What could this be, ubuntu reports it as being fine please help!!!

Try starting again? Completely format the card, recreate the partition table without setting any ownerships or changing file systems?

First partition FAT32 second EXT2
