Android 2.2 Froyo for LG GT540

Hi everybody,

I just installed the new Android 2.1 for my LG GT540.

I'm so disappointed because this version doesn't permit to store App on the Sd card.

I tried to use App2sd but I don't manage to install it.

Please, could you tell me if the android 2.2 froyo exists for LG GT540 ?

There is costum 2.2 rom for gt540, tho the creator still dont publish download link and the rom have alot of missing features, so its still in development. :)

Use the androot 1click/apps 2 sd tutorial on this forum.

The likelihood of the Optimus being able to run 2.2 properly is pretty far out there...

Hi m8,

I strongly suggest for rooting your device an app called z4root with permanent option (there is an option for unroot also) then use this.

Both things works like charm on my phone while I was using 2.1. Easy to use and easy to remove (both root and Link2SD), just read all from developer of Link2SD. ;)

use link to SD i have 2.2 and im experiencing a lot of problems the apps to sd and the speed is really good but there are some things that cause a lot of problems
