What Can I Do With A Rooted Phone?

Recommended Posts

I know this seems stupid :) but I've recently rooted my gt540 on the 2.1 OS and I was wondering, what can I actually do with it? Although the obvious stuff is just about moving apps and overclocking, I'd rather customize my phone. Can anyone help me with this and show me easy tutorials on how to do it? :) Thanks in advance :(

With root you can do stuff like:

change fonts

metamorph

adb with pc

change boot animation

and other stuff

Did you figure how to change fonts after? I saw your thread at XDA but unsure whether you got it to work or not

Thanks but how do you actually change the fonts? I tried TypeFresh but that didn't work at all.

Delete built-in apps with titanium backup, turn off shutter sounds for camera... heaps of things! Basically your whole file system is unlocked!

lol'd at your QR code too
