Titanium restore to unrooted phone

Hi all,

First of all, thank you! I have loved the MoDaCo Custom ROM for the HTC Desire.

I've now switched to a Samsung Galaxy S, and was hoping to be able to restore most of my settings without needing to root this phone.

(Specifically phone, sms, game high scores etc)

I have backed up the old phone with Titanium Plus... Is there a way I can restore parts of this backup without rooting my new phone just yet?

Not possible ass far as i know. The instructions says NEED ROOT on Titanium on Marked. But why not root???
