Guest booshambles Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 (edited) http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1466240 So i was browsing and found this after following the instructions to the letter i went ahead and cleared my battery stats... I have a feeling that was the problem. After i booted up again the phone randomly pauses as if the cpu is at 100% like you get when an app runs wild on a pc. Tried removing a few apps and closing everything even taking the battery out. What i have noticed is the battery status top right is 100% green icon but when i load "mysettings" app it shows it as 85. might point towards the official battery indicator timing out. Fired up angry birds to see if it was just the os part of it but randomly still locks there too birds pausing mid flight :) so i advise not to do the above post or maybe i did something wrong. anyway to fix it i have pauls standard rom thing with all the orange stuff removed and clockwork. just a noob so any details im missing let me know how to find them and i will let you know, anyone else had this. Maybe i just have to let that battery run to 0% to get a new battery stat? help pleeease thanks Edited November 7, 2010 by booshambles
Guest booshambles Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 (edited) Well i just thought i would try drain the battery by running angry birds and a few other things anyway i went to check task manager and the app crashed when i went to see resouces, downloaded another one off the market and its saying that 85% is being used by system and 15% by user so 0% idle, its constantly at 100% cpu usage, any ideas? edit after i posted just looked at the cpu activity graph and it dropped for about 20 seconds to normal levels now the graph is at its 100% use block again. argh Edited November 7, 2010 by booshambles
Guest booshambles Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 Well i seem to have found a temp fix but i have a feeling it was still caused by wiping the battery stats. anyway once i figured out the nature of the problem i found this http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...pu-usage-issue/ so if anyone has found a fix other than going into the camera on bootup that would be great. Could do with an FAQ Sticky covering everything really

Guest booshambles Posted November 7, 2010 Report Posted November 7, 2010 This the fix i am using. at the end of the day i love this phone, and its annoying to have this bug, and its really no big deal to fire up the camera app. after all it doesnt happen every time, and how often do u reboot ? exactly, its just annoying that i only got it after i went back into clockwork to reset the battery stats had it for a week with no problems  Also the only way i found out it was this was an app called SystemPanel, i highly recommended it, shows graphs of cpu usage and what apps are using what cpu/mem plus you can see hidden apps and system files that are using cpu too. One interesting point is at 100% cpu the phone went up to 35c up 5c and stayed there until i fixed it, using about 50% of the battery in the process over about an hour.
