help please

Hey,

i have an android huawei u8220 phone. it's the same like t-mobile pulse. now i wanted to get superuser (root)...

i downloaded fastboot, pressed power on, red button and sound down button.

the blue screen startet, i pused the insatll-windows-superboot button an the pc loaded something to my phone. now the display shiws no reaction. sometimes the phone starts new and new.

can anybody help me to get an backup of this boot-option ... this phone was an present, so i can't go to t-mopbile and order a new one.

so please help me how to reset this phone. it doesn't matter if all the data is away. i only want to have a phone which starts and so one :rolleyes:

ins't there any driver, that the touchscreen runs ?

now the phone is starting an booting, but i can't use the touchscreen.

i go to setting --> SD card & phone storage -->factory data reset -->reset phone and then the button "erase everything"

but i can only manage the phone with the trackball, and i have no chance to push the last button.

if i want to enter a code into the app "dialer", this one doesn't load...

can u help me in this situation ?

hey,

here i am again.

i have now connect the phone via usb and i have acess to my SD card.

now i thought i could maybe install the original android 1.5 or i want to intall andorid 2.0

but that t-mobile pulse version do i need.

i read about a version from ungarn. i thought i downloaded this version, but the phone told me again and again "Update/upgrade faild"

can please give me a link or a version of android which fits to the huawei u8220...

installed the android version 2.1 on my new original huawei u8220 (pulse).

but this wasn't as easy as i thought. not every .zip data file wants to install till the end.

abored after a while.

i found the version which is called "upd2-r6-2.1-pulse-a2sd+-vanilla-signed.zip" and installed it on my phone.

now the problem: today i called a friend. i can hear him, but he can't hear my voice.

the question is, is this a problem in the installation file or a problem in the O2 network.

sorry my english isn't the best, but i hope you understand me. if not, ask me for more detail.

Have you tried switching the mic off and on again during the phone call? I heard that this worked for someone earlier. Does the mic work in other apps like the sound recorder?

in the app sound recorder the mic works fine. i think i tried switching the mic off and on, but you cant hear anything :rolleyes:
