I want to pick up my ntl emails on my SPV but ntl don't offer this option (I think!?). I have been told to use web2mail but that won't seem to work either.

Anyone out there successfully picking up web2mail email or even better ntl email? What's the secret? My old Nokia moby worked a treat on btinternet emails but so far ntl and spv don't mix even with web2mail

I pick up my ntl email no problem :)

Just go to the options in your inbox and choose email setup.

It will walk you throught the whole process.

I have tried but every time I go through the delivery cycle I get asked for my password again even though I know it is correct. When I phoned ntl helpline they say "we don't support mail to mobiles, try web2mail". Any chance you could tell me your settings for POP and SMTP please. If you have it working then there is hope for me yet!

Strange as I have no problems at all.

I need your help. I have broadband ntl on my home system and plenty of free pop email addresses available. So I created a new account spv.fone@ntlworld etc I put in the incoming server as pop.ntlworld.com and the outgoing as smtp.orange.net (as I believe this si the only one that works??)

Anyway, when I send recieve I get a message :

The following errors...

unable to connect to the incoming mail server. Verify that the server name is correct and then try again.

I the server name is OK, but I still get this error. It goes to 'dialling', then 'connecting' then 'Errors'.

Any ideas?
