New to Orange Sanfrancisco - accidently deleted Orange Mail app!

Hello all! First post here :rolleyes:

Ive had my HTC Desire (generic unbranded version) since launch, and have been really happy with it..... so much so that my wife is jealous and wants a phone like it.....

Saw how good value the orange Sanfrancisco is and bought it!

Removed much of the bloatware from it (rooted, used Titanium, and now unrooted) and really happy, but I removed the Orange Mail app - I want to be able to check hotmail much like I do on the default Desire mail app. BIG THANKS TO XEYAZTIANs thread here:)

Can someone guide me to a standard mail app please :huh: Not to keen on modded/aftermaket apps.

Also.... can somebody recommend me a nice clock and weather widget please

I think most people use K9 Mail: http://www.appbrain.com/app/k-9-mail/com.fsck.k9 Not played around with email myself though.

I never tried orange mail but I assumed it would only connect your orange mail account? And I assume you're not staying with Orange you're removing all your orange apps. Google mail is there too but again, I assume it only connects to gmail.

See post 86, same happened to me and I installed this standard email application and so far working fine. Beutiful widgets in maket which is paid apppliction is great for waether and clock widget.

Is there any way to "open" the stock rom IMG file and extract the relevant apk's from it?

EDIT: Yes there is. Simply download the ROM file from here.

Unzip

Browse to system - app and then find the app you deleted.
