Can't uninstall Facebook 1.3.2

I'm trying to update my facebook app to the latest 1.4.0, but it fails. I tried to uninstall 1.3.2 first, but that option is grayed out, and in Uninstaller apps it doesn't even appear in the apps lists.

Am I alone in this?

Try with titanium backup

What ROM are you on?

If you're on LCR, uninstall all updates, switch on USB debugging, go on to the Apps and Add ons and try uninstalling Facebook from there

Ok, it uninstalled, but now I can't install the new version. It says "Incompatible Update".

I did, with Titanium. But still, I can't install the new version. It says "Incompatible Update". I gave up, I don't use it that often. Waiting to flash new Cyanogen.

try pm uninstall as well

Or just download the APK from somewhere and install it with something. Might work if you don't go through the market.
