Android 2.3 gingerbread should be out this week

I heard rumors, that Android 2.3 codename Gingerbread should be released this week (Nov 11), and

should be offered as an OTA update to Nexus one users, also this week.

What do people think is up with this then? Is t delayed just because of the alleged hardware problems with the Nexus S?
