The ads kill the performance. Play with data connection off :huh:

Updated mine, now says V 1.3.5 but i still only see 3 worlds!??!?! No "Big Setup"

EDIT.. New version is 1.4.2... GetJar gave me the wrong file.. or whoever it was who linked there off twitter...

Played a few of the new levels an so far looking smooth on 2.2 with the ads switched off.

Just turn off data/wifi. Or switch on air-plane mode temporarily.

If you are rooted you can install AdFree

http://www.appbrain.com/app/adfree-android....android.adfree

It re-directs most known ad hosts to 127.0.0.1 therefore they don't load as the adverts cannot be reached.

Works for ALL adverts on the device.

Offtopic: About adfree, Do you need to keep the phone rooted for it work?

Also, having Universal Androot on my phone seems to slow it down, quite a bit.

FYI there's an ad-free version floating around that solves the adverts problem.

Alternatively, you can use tasker to turn off data when you play it. I also use it for 250+ solitaire games. It's a great application, but the ads kill it, and there isn't a donate version to get rid of the ads :rolleyes:.

I installed this but when I restored my saved games using titanium all the pigs became immortal! Quite funny at first, but now its annoying because it seems my old version save data isn't compatible with the new version :rolleyes:

Has anyone else seen this? Anyone got a solution?

Im using it on my SF with no extra ROMs just rmeoved Orange App without a new ROM and its working great! This new version is perfect! Got it from the Market easily aswell! I did change back to Market 2.1 though as I thought 2.2 was cool but now im back on 2.1 its a lot faster!

Even with ADFree and airplane mode on still laggy even on Froyo.
