Angry Birds 1.4.2

Angry Birds now has QVGA support, this means that our pulses can show the graphics as it's supposed to look, Rovio also added some new levels!

However, this makes the game really really slow (at least for me), it was much faster on 1.3.5.

You can download it for free at android market (with some banner ads).

Graphics is ok now, but it's unusable, even on overclocked (690 Mhz) Pulse. :rolleyes: Slow like hell.

Lots of the of the onscreen detail is rendered in white or not at all.

Graphics are a lot better, much improved, but it is so slow and I am running my pulse overclocked.

I think I will probably uninstall this version and re-install the older version. It might not have all the graphics, which meant more of a challenge, but it made it more playable.

Hi,

the link from getjar is incorrect.

rename the version number of the file from 1.3.5 to 1.4.2 and download it...

for example

to

http://download.getjar.com/downloads/web/p...Birds_1.4.2.apk

I hope theyll add hardware acceleration, this aint gonna work this way. You can makebit a bit more playable by disabeling internet to prevent adds from being loaded, but it will not work very well though..
