I am fiddling with the settings and sorting out profiles on the Set Cpu app and was wondering what settings others have for optimizing performance without compromising battery performance.

On screen off: 245-528 MHz

Advanced -> Up threshold: 35%

With regular use and this settings I usually get 2-3 days of battery life.

screen on: 122 - 320mhz, ondemand, up threshold 80, powersave bias 0

screen off: 122 - 245mhz, ondemand

(whole day of internet and music, perfomance still a bit better than in stock Android 2.1)

Isn't 122-320 for screen on too low? Is your phone fast & fluid with 320MHz?

Good topic. I'd like to hear what others are doing with these settings too.

But I really want to not only hear what settings people are using, but why they are doing it that way. And of course, hearing what the affect on both battery life and performance are is valuable too. Thanks.

This is the zip file I use. It gives 710 max in Set Cpu. Hope it helps.

AntonioPT, 320mhz are fast enough for me :rolleyes:

Of course, it's a bit sluggish when browsing with music in the background.

but without music it's goes OK with my Launcher Pro and JIT, without swap and compcache :huh:

and the power save is HUGE!!

so, it does more good than it hurts.
