Stock Alarm / Better Alarm App ?

Recommended Posts

The only thing which really annoyed me about the San Fran was the fact that I had to use the "Clock" app to then set the alarm ? The whiole process seemed very lengthy compared to my old Pulse !

I uninstalled the clock app today, and have installed Awaken Free, which seems OK and has the benefit of "shake to snooze" but I have read about a few issues with it (one of which I have already expericenced - it doesnt light the screen when the alarm goes off !).

Is it possible to install the "stock" android alarm app on the San Francisco ? If so where could I get the apk ? Or can anyone suggest any free alarm apps which are worth trying ?

Thanks.

+1 me too

Edit : wow this is an old thread : still relevant to those 2.2 Alpha users , as you need to get an Alarm.

HERE IS A THOUGHT:

IF YOU USE FANCY WIDGET, THEN YOU CAN CONFIGURE IT TO GO TO CLOCK APP WHEN YOU TAP ON TIME, AND SETS YOUR ALARM EASILY.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THAT THIS SOLUTION WAS HELPFUL.
