Important:

1.Must be have ClockWorkMod Recovery.

(for tutor please open here)

1. Added the ability to overclock the processor! (Finally I did it))):

By default, the device starts with the standard frequencies of 245-600MHz.

To overclock, you must install progarmmu ® SetCPU .

Available frequencies: 729, 748, 768, 787, 806, 825.

maybe everyone will have different maximum frequency is stable ... determine for themselves

2. Added CIFS with support for Russian language.

To use the install program ® CifsManager

3. Minor changes and optimize the kernel ...

Corrected version of a working G-Sensors, ADB and the PC Suite.

Step for Upgrade kernel :

1.Download kernel in here

2.Extract file from downloaded. and you got 2 files

-boot.img

-update.zip

3.Copy file update.zip tp root on sdcard.

4.Load update.zip from Recovery Mod.

5.Copy file boot.img to adb directory and open fastboot from CMD.

and type this syntax.

fastboot flash boot boot.img

For result :

This is awesome. Any chance of adding psfreedom in a future build?

I can't install at present due to laptop issues but does this actually make the phone work noticeably better?

Quick question,

What sort of battery life have people experienced when O/C to 825mhz?

What sort of speeds are you using it at?.

Can we install this kernel on any rom with fastboot? Or is only for the ones with the quarx rom installed?

Any rom with fastboot n recovery mode will do...

For me 787 mhz is enough. >800 (my max is 855) is only for benchmark..

right i have a bit of a problem. i can find the update.zip on with recovery but when i try to install it says

E:cant chown/mod /system/bin/busybox

no such file or directory

E:failure at line 9:

set_perm 0 0 04755 system:bin/busybox

installation aborted.

any ideas what it could be and how to sort it. does it have something to do with busybox by anychance?

@cooperzetech: yes it's busybox prob. Try install it from titanium backup or from joestone autorootapp2sd the 'r ' option will do...

N ppl should know diff from firmware n rom.. firmware change everything, system, data (but somehow i still get my apn when flashing firmware) n boot. Recovery, fastboot, kernel work in boot, so when u flash a firmware that dont have fastboot, ull lose all those 3. Firmware with fastboot can install the rest of 3.

Rom only alter the system n data (i lose my apn when install rom) it wont do anything to boot part, hence u still have recovery n fastboot.

U can alter any firmware (the *.kdz) so itll have fastboot, i've read the tutorial somewhere, but if want to use quarx rom, dont expect to keep the app, u can still have the locale though, but u can use more locale from market too...

for better, you must remove app2sd before install this kernel.

After upgrade the kernel, you got setting app2sd again.

And until now, my experience using this kernel is Good.

sorry my english.

@RAT-BoyZ

How do you get so great test results. Tried updating the kernel, and i got SetCPU done. But doing tests only gives me 580 using quadrant standard. Looking at your results I come no-where near.

Like Matthew I am not getting anywhere near your result scores - even at 825 Mhz. Typically I am getting 527 or thereabouts.
