Am thinking of updrading from blade as mine has suffered water damage and cant seem to find any info on replacing sensors, Any one know of any current/upcoming phones that are at least as good as blade for roughly same price?

The reason I became aware of the San Francisco was precisely that are NO comparable devices at the moment for such a price. Only side-/downgrades for a higher price (smaller screen, resistive screen, more expensive, android 1.6, etc).

The one I was waiting for before I heard of the SF was the new LG Optimus One, but alas it only seems to have 480x320 and - again - costs more. Only upside is that it comes with 2.2 by default.

Thanks for reply. As I thought this is the best phone for spec/price if i could fix sensors I would be happy though tempted to buy another one. Although the lack of info on repairing sensors makes me wonder if I should wait till new year for newer model

Thats the very first thing I look for when buying a new handset, no sensor repair info = no purchase.

What do you plan on subjecting your sensors to exactly?
