Why some .apk work on one ROM and not on other ?

Hi,

All is in title ! More precisly : why an .apk is working on a ROM and can't be installed on other ?

Most of all it will be signatures mismatches.

Other things could be: some libraries missing, some framework files missing, etc.

Thanks Peter for this answer. So with Liquid / LCR-F or maybe ADB, can we obtain a log with informations or details of problem (librairies,...). With objective to resolve it. I'm searching to use an other Launcher on LCR-F.

Have we got a similar command with adb or an other solution to list the lib for instal an .apk.

Than an apt-get install command under Debian ?
