Guest CameronR11 Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 How are you supposed to charge the phone initially, must it be turned off until the light turns green? I plugged it in then immediately turned it on, and when the battery was 99% charged the led was still red, and whenever i unplugged the charger, the phone turned off. What is it that I am doing wrong. Currently the phone is charging turned off and will be all night. Will that work?
Guest CameronR11 Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Anyone know, before i head off to bed?
Guest Afrodude Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 The LED will turn green at some point (unless it faulty). Can take a good three- four hours to charge fully.
Guest targetbsp Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 I plugged mine in, waited until the light was green, unplugged it and turned it on. There's no special initial charge procedures for li-ion batteries. I don't know how long it took because I wasn't watching it. But I seem to recall reading estimates of around 3 hours from empty. It seems to charge from half used states a heck of a lot faster than 3 hours from empty would suggest though.
