Guest theShire Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Is there any way to make Android combine all the SMS's from a single contact even if they are from a different number? ie: at the moment it works the following way: ContactA has num1 & num2 so when i receive a text from num1 it shows as conversation1 from ContactA and a text from num2 shows as conversation2 from ContactA what I want is the following: text from num1 shown as Conversation1 from ContactA and text from num2 gets added to Conversation1 from ContactA hope ye get the idea- is this possible? It gets especially annoying when using SMS for banking/text services

It gets especially annoying when using SMS for banking/text services Try using ChompSMS (free through android market) When you get further texts from the same contact it lists them one after another (opposite your responses) in a speech bubbled conversation I've not tried this bit, but I'd assume that if you've two numbers assigned to the same contact, both would appear in the same conversation Hope that helps Edited November 10, 2010 by The Soup Thief
Guest theShire Posted November 10, 2010 Report Posted November 10, 2010 Try using ChompSMS (free through android market) Sorry, should've mentioned i've tried both the stock app and Chomp and both show the texts as a seperate conversation
