Adhoc wifi on CM6

Isnt it true that Adhoc wifi is supported in CM6?

For some reason the Adhoc doesnt work on my Pulse, is this a generic issue on CM6 or our CM6 port?

Can anyone shed some light?

i think we need Netfilter-enabled kernel for that one to work :rolleyes: why dont you try easy tether or barnacle wifi tether?

No guys.. i am trying to connect to an adhoc network... not trying to create a hotspot out of my phone...

Im using barnacle... sometimes it fails to start but if just keep pressing start it will start and its more reliable on CM6 then it was ever on FLB :rolleyes:

I have no problem connecting my pulse to the ad hoc network I just set up on my pc.

I'm using the CM rom v0.20 (haven't updated yet)

Edit: The best way to share the internet from your pc with your pulse is by using Connectify on Windows 7. It allows you to create a true hotspot like a router would do.
