Guest Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 Hi, i use WPA2 as my wireless encryption type for my router and TKIP+AES for my WPA type but my orange san francisco can't see the wireless router, i've tried manually adding it to but it can't find it. My HTC Wildfire android 2.1 sees it perfectly. Is there any way to fix this? I'd rather not using WEP, my DD-WRT firmware on my linksys router doesn't have PSK as 1 of the WPA types which i notice my phone can see as the neighbours use that.

Not an answer, but my SF can see most wireless (WEP/WPA/WPA2 but cannot see a particular netgear wireless access point where I work (it uses wep) but it can see my netgear wireless router at home. Can't add it manually or scan for it... it just can't see it.... a friends HTC Hero sees it just fine. Odd.
Guest Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 (edited) anyone know if the custom android 2.2 roms can see TKIP+AES encrypted wireless routers? EDIT: for some reason after leaving the phone for 15mins it can connect to my router now, very strange. Edited November 11, 2010 by Guest
Guest LorianNod Posted November 11, 2010 Report Posted November 11, 2010 I'm using WPA2+AES on Froyo OK.
