Guest dhawal3320 Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 Suggestion / request to all ROM creators/builders etc Dear all I thanks everyone here for doing good work in helping others to enjoy best out of there phones/pda. However I have a suggestion or a request that kindly upload your roms on (or its mirror ) on www.mediafire.com only reason is that :- 1). UNLIKE MOST FILE HOSTING SITES, MEDIAFIRE SUPPORTS RESUMING OF DISCONNECTED DOWNLOADS AS LONG AS YOUR WEB BROWSER OR DOWNLOAD MANAGER/ACCELERATOR SUPPORTS RESUMING. YOU CAN RESUME A DOWNLOAD FOR UP TO 24 HOURS FROM WHEN YOU FIRST CLICKED THE DOWNLOAD LINK. 2). UNLIKE MOST FILE HOSTING SITES, MEDIAFIRE SUPPORTS AN UNLIMITED NUMBER OF FILE DOWNLOADS. FOR FREE USERS, MEDIAFIRE SUPPORTS MULTIPLE SIMULTANEOUS DOWNLOADS, HOWEVER YOU WILL NEED TO REVISIT THE DOWNLOAD PAGE FOR EACH FILE. FOR PRO USERS, MEDIAFIRE SUPPORTS THE DOWNLOAD OF SEVERAL FILES AT A TIME. TO DOWNLOAD MORE THAN ONE FILE: SELECT THE FILES YOU WOULD LIKE TO DOWNLOAD FROM YOUR MY FILES PAGE. CLICK ON 'BULK DOWNLOAD SELECTED' ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN. CHOOSING THIS OPTION WILL FIRST ZIP YOUR FILES, THEN SUPPLY YOU WITH AN OPTION TO SAVE OR OPEN THE FILES. YOU CAN THEN SAVE THEM TO ANOTHER LOCATION ON YOUR COMPUTER OR OPEN THEM USING THE APPROPRIATE PROGRAM. Regards, Dhawal Bhandari
Guest Sumit Bhardwaj Posted November 12, 2010 Report Posted November 12, 2010 But unlike most sites, mediafire doesn't supports resuming while uploading, or an offline client to upload easily and reliably. I also prefer mediafire, but on unreliable connections, uploading is a pain. In those situations, I prefer Megaupload.
