gmail and android market problem

When i click gMail icon or Market icons, a window trying to connect (I assume) opens for 1 sec and closes again....and that's all. How can I activate my market and gmail? I deleted yesterday an apk called email.apk (I hope it's not because of that).

I have a rooted SGS with Android 2.1 & Titanium backup.
